Career
John qualified as a solicitor in 1990 and became a partner at Bendles in 1994 heading the non-contentious department until 2010 when he was elected as the Member of Parliament for Carlisle. John continues to play an active role within the firm.
Interests
Enjoys sport, particularly golf, running and as a spectator.
