Liam is a Solicitor in our Private Client department in the Wigton office. In addition, Liam also has experience in residential conveyancing and family law matters.
Career
Having spent six years within the IT sector Liam decided that his skills were best suited to law. He graduated from the University of Cumbria in July 2019 with first class honours law degree and received both the Weightmans’ Solicitors and University of Cumbria’s Law Student of the Year. In July 2020 Liam achieved a Distinction on the Legal Practice Course (LPC) from Northumbria University.
In 2018 Liam was also the recipient of the Charles Attenborough Award, awarded to him by Bendles Solicitors for his academic and local community efforts.
Interests
Liam is a keen cricketer during the summer months and the Secretary of Moorhouse Cricket Club.
Outside of cricket he also enjoys cycling, running and spending time in the lakes while also holding a Private Pilots Licence.
