We are pleased to confirm that the merger between Bendles Solicitors and Gaynham King & Mellor (GK&M) Solicitors was officially completed on 1 April 2026, marking an exciting new chapter for two long‑established Cumbrian law firms with strong local roots.

The newly-merged firms will operate under the name Bendles Solicitors incorporating Gaynham King & Mellor. Gaynham King & Mellor’s offices in Penrith, Appleby and Kirkby Stephen continue to serve their local communities and play a key role in the firm’s expanded presence across the region.
