Career
Kevin obtained a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in law from Newcastle Polytechnic where he also went on to complete the Law Society final examinations before commencing the practical stage of his training. Upon qualification as a solicitor in 1986, Kevin practised initially in Gateshead and the surrounding area, specialising in medical negligence, before establishing his own practice in the Upper Tyne Valley.
Although hailing from the north east Kevin chose to move to Cumbria with his family in 1994 as an assistant solicitor. He started as an assistant solicitor in the litigation department, before joining the Partnership in 1997 and taking on a greater non-contentious workload.
Kevin concentrates almost exclusively on non-contentious work including both domestic and commercial conveyancing, wills and probate, and a wide range of agricultural matters.
