We are pleased to announce that Bendles will acquire Cumbrian law firm Atkinson Ritson as of September 1, 2026, bringing together two well-respected legal practices operating throughout the county.
The deal strengthens the services both long-established law firms provide to their growing client bases, and it continues Bendles’ ongoing development by adding real expertise and experience to the firm.
It is important to point out that this acquisition will add strength in depth and see us operate across a larger geographical area, which will further benefit our current clients. There will be no disruption to the services we provide and existing relationships, contacts and day‑to‑day work continue as before, with the same people delivering the same high standard of advice and support.
